Pat Ruszkowski

Chief Executive Officer

Pat began his business career in 1972 as a software developer for Carleton. He journeyed his way through Carleton as a manager of software development, production, sales and marketing, and finally as vice president with overall responsibility of Carleton's financial lending products.

In 1991, Pat purchased Carleton. Under his leadership, Carleton has transformed from being a financial publishing company into a leading financial software company having strategic partnerships with many of the national lenders and most of the major financial software companies that service the banking, credit union and auto lending industries.

Matt Ruszkowski

President & Chief Operating Officer

Matt became President and COO in January 2019.

Matt joined Carleton in 2011. He oversees the overall leadership of the company's daily operations and new innovative software solutions for the lending industry.

Before joining Carleton, Matt worked for 10 years with the StoneEagle Group in Richardson, Texas, serving as manager of new business development that supports the auto F&I and credit protection industry. Matt is a graduate of Indiana University where he majored in management and computer science and has completed the Executive Management and Supervisory Development programs at the University of Notre Dame.

Deborah Grounds

Vice President of Software Services

Deborah has more than 25 years experience in software development since joining Carleton in 1993.

Her responsibilities include directing all product development, IT and security initiatives.

Deborah graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in computer science and has completed the Executive Management and Supervisory Development programs at the University of Notre Dame.

Tonya Hardisty

Director of Client Success

Tonya has worked in the CarletonDocs® document support department since 1997 and has been in a managerial role at Carleton since 2005. She was promoted to Director of Client Success in 2023 and now leads the support team that oversees all of Carleton's clients that utilize the Carleton calculation solutions and document services. From the client onboarding process to ongoing support, she ensures that Carleton's clients are receiving expert-level support and continuously strives to enhance the overall client experience.

Tonya graduated from Ball State University and completed the executive management in supervisory development program at the University of Notre Dame.

Sarah Way Milovich

General Counsel & Vice President of Compliance

Attorney Sarah Way Milovich brings her valuable legal background and expertise to the Carleton team which includes business law, contract development and documentation, intellectual property regulations, property insurance law, and other litigation disciplines.

Sarah earned her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in 2013 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame in 2009.
